Master workshops

Information concerning time and place of
Master workshops run by prof. dr hab. Paweł Wiliński

I hearby kindly inform, that all master workshops will take place on Mondays in room 107 in Collegium Iuridicum at following hours:

1. Fourth - Year of intramural studies – 13.30 – 15.00
2. Fifth - Year of intramural studies – 16.30 – 18.00

The first meeting will take place at 8th of November 2012

(concerning students of prof UAM dr hab . Hanna Paluszkiewicz)I hearby kindly inform, that all master workshops will take place room 1.4 (court room)  in Collegium Iuridicum Novum at following days and hours:

1. Fourth – Year intramural studies – Thursday at 13.30 – 15.00
2. Fifth - Year of intramural studies – Friday at 16.30 – 18.00

The first meeting will take place at 11th and 12th  of November
The first set – up meeting for students of dr hab. Anna Gerecka – Żołyńska will take place at Thursday, 11th 102, at 14.15, in room 1.4 (court room).

Information concerning master workshops for fourth – year students of intramural studies in academic year 2012/2013

1. Professors running master workshops:

  • prof. UAM dr hab. Paweł Wiliński
  • prof. UAM dr hab. Hanna Paluszkiewicz
  • dr hab. Anna Gerecka-Żołyńska

2. Participation limit: master works groups up to 10 – 12 people.

3. Entry: directly at Professor holding master workshops after obtaining positive grade at criminal procedure, until running out of vacancies.

4. Conditions of admission: obtaining 5,4,4+ at criminal procedure exam, interview with

5. Scope of master workshops: Criminal procedure, international criminal procedure, misdemeanor procedure, revenue offences procedure, executory procedure, system of bodies of legal protection.

6. Aims and tasks of seminar workshops: The aim of master workshops is to prepare student to independently elaborate the  issue related to criminal procedure as a master’s thesis, under the guidance of major advisor . Teaching abilities concerning independently elaborating  and analyzing criminal procedure problems.

7. Didactic methods: master workshops, form of  weekly meetings, discussions, analysis of current legal solutions concerning criminal procedure.

8. Assessment: As a second – year master workshop participant, fifth – year student will elaborate master’s  thesis under  the guidance of the major advisor and present it, when it is   completed , which is condition of completing workshops and being permitted to defend ones master’s thesis. The part of assessment of student is also workshop activity, especially participation in discussions, solving cases and preparing papers A master workshops participant is obligated to prepare and deliver a paper on subject suggested by Professor running the master workshop and defend its thesis or participate in discussion concerning defending its thesis.

9. Content of education: Issues raised  during master workshops are closely related to criminal procedure subject matter. They deepen knowledge gained during studying of criminal procedure. Issues are especially focused on subjects chosen for master thesis.
