Paweł Wiliński is the scientific coordinator of the project on behalf of polish side. The aim of the project is to examinate the state of practical use of e-tools by judicial system bodies. The project embraced several countries, for example: Finland, Spain, Greece, Germany, England, Italy. By using research results conducted in these countries, the current state of e-tools implementation in Polish and Bulgarian (beneficiaries of this project) courts and public prosecutor’s offices has been established. The final result of these action was creation of the report representing present state of informatisation of polish judicial system. It has to be noticed, that it is one of the first documents concerning issues related to application of e–tools in managing of criminal cases. Conclusions presented in the report may be used as a basis for works aimed at implementation uniform practice of usage of e–tool in polish judicial system. It can be clearly observed, that polish judicial system is in a phase of profound transformation. Electronic documentation is systematically displacing paper one. Moreover, it has to be emphasized that, Communications between individual units makes its way toward complete informatisation.
